The Microsoft Software Inventory Analyzer (MSIA) is a tool to help small and medium sized businesses to inventory their key Microsoft software. It allows users to analyze the inventory of software products within a Network and generate reports containing information about installed Microsoft products. It also allows the user to maintain the License Information of the products detected by MSIA.
MSIA 4.0 is enhancement from its earlier version MSIA 3.1. The main enhancement was done in performance. MSIA 4.0 is made 70 times faster than its earlier version. The report generation also changed completely. It was made XML and XSL based. Other than this many other features were implemented in this version.
The development of MSIA 4.0 was followed by localization of it into 29 languages. I managed the project in the localization phase of it.

This site is meant for small companies and organizations. This site provides service like e-mail, calendar, web hosting, file sharing, contact manager etc. to its users. I had opportunity to work in few of such services/modules for the site.
Mainly, the nature of job was designing, creating and maintaining DB for the various services/modules and write Business layer and DB layer COM components (in C++) using ATL of Visual Studio 6.0. Those Business Layer components were being used in ASP for server side processing, which also designed and wrote by me for the services/modules I owned.
