I write about what I love, and what I know; beer. As a commercial brewer, I can bring technical depth to my beer writing. As a "beer activist", and founding member of New Zealand's SOBA (Society of Beer Advocates), I bring strong opinions and passion where they are required. I'm no frothing-at-the-mouth one-eyed beer nerd though, and am perfectly capable of writing calmly and objectively on any beer related topic. I've been published in magazines, including Beer and Brewer (Australian), and SOBA's own "Pursuit of Hoppiness" quarterly magazine.
