Learning Regular Expressions using XCS-based Classifier System

Evolutionary machine learning research aims to develop classifier systems that can solve complex and hard tasks. This paper addresses the problem of inferring a regular expression from a given set of strings for automating the task of information extraction. This paper is the first to propose the extension of accuracy based classifier system XCS to learn the regular expressions for text extraction. This new system named as XCSREA includes tree-like code fragments to learn regular expressions.
Human Activity Recognition using kinect in lecture room
This project is based on human posture detection using Kinect sensor. A multi-class human posture detection and recognition system is presented that based on the geometric features of Kinect. The recognition is based on describing activities as a continuous sequence of discrete postures. Background is subtracted from each scene to detect the foreground. This foreground contain the skeleton data that can be detect by Kinect sensor. There will be some vectors in three dimension scene that will use to represen
