Hi, I'm Brennan. I am a full stack applications developer from Los Angeles, CA. My journey as a developer began in high school. Motivated by my entrepreneurial mindset, and an abundance of opportunity, I decided to learn how to code. 11 years later, I have a bachelors degree in computer science from CSULB, I'm proficient in JavaScript, TypeScript, PHP, Python, Ruby, GoLang, Swift, Rust, C, C++, and Objective-C, and am currently employed by Coinbase, as a dev ops specialist. I invite you to check out my personal portfolio [login to view URL]. Here you'll find live examples of my personal and freelance work. Ask me anything! I'm always happy to provide free consultation.
Very professional and is always willing to answer questions and help fix bugs.

VibeLava is my current and latest project. It is an e-commerce site for hippie home decor and apparel such as wall tapestries, dream catchers, trippy posters, hoodies, black lights, and more. Through the hands on experience I gained running VibeLava, I developed a diverse set of skills. I have no employees. So I handle the web dev, marketing, and the project management all myself. These responsibilities include the product photography, SEO, web design, content, Adwords, and so much more.

Smoke Hut was an eCommerce site that I created for marijuana products. These products are unfortunately considered 'drug paraphernalia'. As a result, marijuana products are banned from every mass marketing channel. I had to get creative with my marketing to get any traffic. This project gave me an intro to running eCommerce sites. The ad blockade helped me grow my knowledge, and skills. Managing projects, web dev, photography, social media, and SEO are a few skills I learned with this project.

I started as a associate, and in 2 months I was promoted to manager. My responsibilities included general retail duties, cash handling, customer service, inventory, disputes, and scheduling. I would ensure that employees were trained and performing correctly, thoroughly, and on time. I learned how to effectively manage a team here. I recognize the importance of acknowledging your employees strengths. I was quick to appreciate, but thoughtful and respectful about improvements.
