“Jack Joy has been working with me as a Linux coach. I was looking for somebody to help me spruce up my command of that operating system. Jack has turned out to be a perfect coach. We meet once or twice a week, virtually. We use Skype for a voice connection and TeamViewer for screen sharing. Jack brings a valuable combination of qualities to our project: First, competence: he knows his stuff. Second, communications: Jack is a good listener, and very articulate. Third: Patience. He listens me out before giving his explanation. Fourth: Client-orientation. He will often point to multiple, possible solutions. If one is easier than another, he will explain that. But he will still ask which solution I prefer. Fifth: Generosity. Jack did some research in preparation for one of our sessions without charging for it. Sixth: Fun. Jack's got a pleasant, friendly and kind demeanor. I ¬†look forward to each coaching session. Bottom line: Jack is a Joy to work with.¬†”
