Graduated from the University of Canterbury with a degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (Hons.). Previously employed as a Software Engineer at 6waves Japan. I predominately programmed backend applications in (Object Orientated) PHP and Java. As well as backend development, I programmed frontend applications (HTML, CSS, Javascript, JQuery) and set up and maintained production, development and server monitoring servers through Amazon Web Services (EC2, CentOS Linux). I utilised several different web technologies and applications including CDNs, LAMP, CVS (Git and SVN), Couchbase, Redis, Munin, Nagios and Maven.
