Rooms by Design was a design competition held by Grand Designs Live Australia in two stages. The first stage involved the design of innovative explorations of residential archetypes referencing current trends within interiors to be presented to a panel. Four students were chosen to exhibit their room at Grand Designs Live Australia 2011. Each student was required to assemble their room based entirely on sponsorship, requiring close collaboration with suppliers. The resulting rooms were judged by Kevin McClo
