12 years working exclusively with Free Software / Open Source Software, mainly GNU/Linux though some openBSD, Solaris, FreeBSD as well. I have had several Articles on GNU/Linux published by a CNET website. [ paid work ] I have been doing C/C++ programming for my own personal projects since 1990. I started with some objective-C in 2000. I do NOT work with Java, and the .NET framework isn't worth using on GNU/Linux. [ The mono project hasn't gotten full duplication of .NET yet. ] I don't really support the bloatware app framework model.
