The main function of this project was to control appliances using capacitive touch buttons and send status to server using MQTT over WiFi(ESP32). The board is powered from 230V AC and all the appliances are rated 210-240 V AC,20 Amps.There are three PCBs stack to reduce form factor of device. Dimension was 40mm x 40mm.

4 Gang Switch

This PCB has been designed to control compressor automatically. It has capability to get outer temperature data in form of ADC , and operate(turn ON/OFF) compressor based on temperature readings. There are LED indication for compressor running status with inputs.

Automatic Compressor Controller

It is an Embedded Solution which can be used with PLC device to convert its editable test reports (i.e. csv files) to non-editable test reports(i.e. pdf etc.) with proper formats.
- Raspberry PI acts as an access point. It has its own web server with rich GUI and gives user friendly interface.
- User can connect to access point and download non editable reports using GUI.
- Device also takes backup of reports automatically and gives indication on memory exceptions.

PLC Data Report Generation - Wireless

- Webserver is the product which would monitor and control your remote units/ equipmentsusing web interface.
- Webserver is an advanced yet simplified Remote Terminal Unit and running inside a simple microcontroller.
- Taking advantage of the reliable, internet, webserver device becomes a remotely accessible unit from any part of the world.
- Webserver device comprised of Microchip TCP/IP stack and in addition it also contains a Modbus TCP server.
- The inputs present on Webserver device can be used for monitoring of external devices or connecting sensors (digital).
- Alarm conditions can be configured using a simple web interface for monitoring of these inputs.
- Webserver also gives you the freedom to control the states of the connected outputs using web browser.
- IDE Used : Mplab X IDE

Webserver - Monitoring and Control

This is an Internet of Things (IOT) where a microcontroller device was interfaced with multiple sensors like temperature, water level, humidity etc.
-The controller module has a 3G GSM module interfaced which provides the high speed internet connectivity. Controller will collect the data from sensors and upload all the data to cloud.
-Cloud is a live server which collects data from different controllers which are on the field. Cloud provides functionality to view the data on charts, tables, sorting of data, alert system, device configuration.
-It has a Bluetooth connectivity over which it can communicate with a mobile device for troubleshooting and configuration.
I have designed complete prototype which includes:
- Component selection
- Schematic and pcb layout design
- Firmware development

Smart Data Logger

The main objective of this product was to build smart OBD (On-Board Diagnostic) device which can be used in automobile industry. This is a step for autmobile industry towards IOT. This device comprises of:
-MCU - communicate with car on CAN Bus and gathers car's health i.e. engine temperature, speed, torque, oxygen sensor data, fuel data, pressure data and many more..
- Bluetooth - communicate with mobile app to send car's data
- GSM - to send data to servers using http
- GPS - to get car's real-time location
- SD card - to store data offline in csv
I have developed this prototype from component selections to pcb layout and firmware development.
