My client for this project was an architect specialized in the area of interior design. 

The project consisted of drawing the module of an ice cream shop to be located in a shopping mall. The drawing was performed using AUTOCAD 2D and 3D for the video presented to the customer, following the architect specifications.

The project was assigned by the Simon Bolivar University and necessary to approve the Computational Mechanics II course.

The aim was to characterize the suspension of a vehicle using a series of provided data from the vehicle dynamics. In order to obtain the final result, it was necessary to use numerical methods to get the suspension characterization curves. 

All This was done by programming the solution on MATLAB.

The main purpose of this piece is to attach the differential of a Formula SAE prototype to its engine.
 
The use of CAE tools like SOLIDWORKS and ANSYS were required to perform the design, in order to evaluate the stress concentration on the piece and get a functional design.

The piece was machined and mounted in the 2017 prototype with success.

The image above shows the assembly of the drivetrain main body of the prototype F-SAE USB 115. The main objective of this project was to re-design the parts in order to increase reliability, reduce weight while maintaining manufacturing costs.

I was the head of the production and design of the drivetrain system for the prototype 115. Mainly I was in charge of the design of the differential mountings, transmission ratios and adaptation measurements of the whole system, in order to meet the team's objectives and deadlines.

We achieve the goals by actually reducing the weight of the system by 25%, solving the reliability problem and increasing the serviceability of the system.
