In the Spring of 2011, the Office of Student Employment conducted a survey of UMaine undergraduate students with the purpose of discovering information on working and non-working students at UMaine. Primary focus was placed on where students were working, why they were working (or not working), and the interaction between work choices and academia or social activities. Results were gleaned from survey responses of over 1,100 respondents and future goals for the Office were established based on these results
