This is a showcase of my UWP app which uses a MapControl to show a map. Pushpin is used to identify a place on the map using latitude and longitude values. The UWP map control provides some basic ways to identify places on the map.

Users may want a way for pushpin to provide more information about the place which it identifies on the map. At the same time the pushpin also has to address the situation when a group of push pins are placed on the map which may overlap one on another.

The custom pushpin I’ve created gives a way to freely move it across the map and still identifies a place on the map with more details about it.

This is a VSTO add-in for MS Office Word application. This addin allows a word document or part of the document (a page) inserted into another word document. This addin previews the browsed documents in a custom task pane. User can view the document information like name and path. The task pane has two controls, one for inserting the selected page or portion of the page at current cursor position and another control for opening the selected page/document in a seperate Word window.

The main feature of this add-in is showing preview of another document(s) inside current document. So, the user can have glimpse of what he is going to insert and open.

Turn on alarm, set levels on which the alarm should trigger, set tone for the alarm and close the app. The app will minimize to system tray notification area and trigger alarm when battery charge level hits among the min. and max. values specified earlier.

The app supports 5 levels of minimum and maximum range values and allows you to set custom messages for each range/level. Messages will be displayed on the alarm notifications. You can mute or un-mute the tone that will be played on the alarm from settings.

Set light or dark theme, or set to system theme settings.

This app is only for tablets, surface books and laptops running Windows 10.
