• Searching tenders on relevant web portal & daily newspapers and identifying business bid opportunities.
• Reviewing tender documents, scope of works, checking the feasibility for qualification, financial criteria, technical criteria etc.
• Attending pre bid meetings & seeking clarifications from clients.
• Coordinating with technical person for site visit and preparation of estimate with rate analysis.
• Identifying risk and opportunity in the proposal pricing in order to mitigate inherent risk at tender submission stage.
• Getting through the contract terms and conditions, liquidity damages, performance guarantee, milestone, bank guarantee requirements, payment terms and special conditions, taxes and duties.
• Preparing presentations, risk matrix, information to top management to get approval for bidding.
• Drafting and collating Tender documents necessary for submission of the bid.
• Coordinating with banks, Chartered Accountants and department for obtaining necessary certificates and payments for tender.
• Bid Preparation - Technical & Price Bid; E - tendering / E - Bidding / Reverse Auctions / Live Auctions /Offline tendering.
• Preparing and finalizing online/offline Tenders by creating Bids and submitting Bids in designated bidding systems.
• Checking the designated website regularly for any corrigendum or amendments with related to the participating tender.
• Submitting the documents in stipulated time limits as mentioned in NIT of tenders.
• Procurement of EMD / post tendering works; Attending pre bid / post bid meetings with customers.
• Preparing Cash flow, Budget tracking and review with business head.
• Submission of Bank guarantees, tender fees and other fees.
• Following up with clients regarding tenders.
• Tracking status of Tenders participated.
• Following up with clients for getting back the bank guarantees submitted if not awarded the tenders.
• Following up with Vendors / OEMs / departments / clients.
• Report preparation / competitive bidder’s comparison sheet.
• Vendor Registration for Limited tenders.
• Obtaining license for company related to business development and renew time to time.
• Preparing Datasheet & maintaining records on regular basis for tenders participated, review record, paid EMD, passwords of web portals & registration details with validity.
• Technical presentation, Negotiation, Contract finalization, feedback with clients.
• Maintaining records for awarded projects like letter of acceptance, work order, agreement & correspondence letters.
• Coordination with government authorities to finalize the tenders.
