By creating my own visual aesthetic, I belief to be very expressive and unique. I tend to break the rules and get into trouble. I brainstorm the weirdest but creative ideas. I mix things together that shouldn’t and enjoy the results. I like tinkering and figuring out how things are constructed and deconstructed. Our brains use the process of using electrical impulses to access information. This process of impulses can be used to remember and recall information within our past. Our memories are located across our brain and can trigger multiple senses due to their location. False memory is the misinterpretation of this information in the brain. False memories are the result of believing in an event or information that is incorrect or that has never happened. This misinterpretation can be influenced by many factors. Time being the biggest factor that can alter one’s memory; it can erase and twist perceptions of our memories.Time is not the only factor that can change our memory. Media like photographs and narratives can influence memory. The mediums can be viewed as catalysts that are capable of manipulating or even introduce a new memory. Our interpretations change due to our identity that is always developing. This constant process of re-evaluating one self is affecting us and our memorie

I researched synonyms and relatable words that represented air or fluidity. I stumbled upon the word “sylph”. The form of the word itself was interesting, the s and y and the l and ph were interesting figures put together. So not only the word meaning was interesting, the form was unique. Sylphs are the spiritual beings that inhabit the spirit realm of the element air. Their activities are manifest in the gatherings of clouds, in the blowing of the wind. In folklore, Sylphs appeared in many myths and legends. Its been suggested that the Muses of Greek mythology were Sylphs who had assumed human form in order to guide humans on a spiritual path. They are associated with the activity of the mind and can influence and inspire human actions. It is generally though that they are attracted to poets and artists and instills them with visions of spiritual beauty.
