I have a different approach, where website CRO comes first and the marketing campaigns are just a result of a well optimized website.
WARNING - Do not hire this Freelancer. He is a terrible communicator and Google Ads manager. He also went over budget and then complained when I challenged the bill. I asked for clear communication about changes to each campaign prior to it being made. However he made hundreds of changes without any consultation. Many of the changes he made were worse results in Google Ads. His bid strategy was wrong. Additionally he used keywords that were irrelevant to my country like "Attorney". AVOID.
Ernesto set up a completely new campaign/s after our old campaigns had been struggling. He has been open to feedback and has adjusted our campaigns accordingly. We are now starting to see results. So far so good!
Ernesto seems technically proficient and nice guy but there was a serious error made closing down a bunch of campaigns plus overall results took a massive dive so decided not to continue. I'm sure in many cases he would do a great job but it didn't work out for my campaigns.
