High class writing (of books, e-books, and feature articles), editing (likewise), manuscript formatting (for CreateSpace and Kindle), cover design and other publishing assistance services. I might not be the cheapest, but I aim to be the best. Or, as one of my clients put it, "I really appreciate your work now that I've tried the others!" My proposition is simple: I will do exactly what I say I will do, when I say I will do it. I won't even pitch for your project if I don't think I can do it, so you can be confident that you won't have to go elsewhere to "finish the job" or to put right what I have done wrong. Actually, I'm fairly picky about the projects I pitch for, and I only take one or two significant jobs at a time that I think are "right up my street". I have been commissioned to author books for professional publishers including John Wiley & Sons, Wrox Press, and Harriman House. Over the years I have also been commissioned by the likes of Microsoft, Barclays Stockbrokers, and many online and print journals to write feature articles and series in various genres. I am a prolific self-publisher, and for several years I have provided high quality editing, formatting, cover design, and other publishing services to fellow self-publishers. I am proud to have helped bring some very well-received books to market, including: Although I can write and edit in pretty much any non-fiction genre, my personal interests and particular specialisms include information technology, trading and investment, self-improvement (including diet, nutritional supplements and exercise), and – of course – self-publishing. I've also helped shape the odd "memoir" along the way. In former lives, I have been an IT consultancy practice manager, an associate lecturer with the UK’s Open University, and a private stock trader. And I was once in a band that you'll never have heard of! Along with my assistant, I can help you as a... -- WORDSMITH (Writing and Editing) -- I can write words that work-- whether sales copy or educational content, on-line or in print. I have written for clients including Microsoft (and other IT companies), Barclays Stockbrokers (and other London brokers), The Motley Fool (and other investment web sites), plus many more business, finance and IT magazines and journals. So you're in good company when you let me be YOUR wordsmith. As an editor I have helped many authors get their articles, dissertations, web content and book manuscripts into good shape with good English... whether British or American. From high-level structural and developmental editing down to detailed line editing, I've got it covered when you let me be YOUR editor. Other providers may (or may not) be able to write grammatically sound English. But do they have a real "way with words" to tell your story? -- PUBLISHING CONSULTANT -- Having published many books for myself and for others using CreateSpace, the Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP) platform, and other publishing platforms, I know all the pitfalls and possibilities. I can offer a complete end-to-end service including editing, interior formatting, cover design, and publishing setup when you let me be YOUR publishing consultant. Best of all, you deal direct with me. No middlemen, no distributed teams, no missed deadlines!
