I was an editor on the nationally recognized Clear Creek High School paper for the past three years. As a part of the paper we were able to train under the Galveston Daily News and Houston Chronicle. We were also given the experience to study under Dan Eldon's mother, Kathy Eldon. For the past year I have been in charge of editing any and all stories that went into the paper. I was also in charge of writing filler stories when needed. I only need about an hour to write a 600+ story. Along with newspaper I have been paid to tutor high school and college students in English. I have helped them with their papers by editing them before they are turned in for grading. I really just love reading and love anything to do with the written word. In the fall I will be attending A&M University in College Station. Although my experience is from high school, my dedication and passion for English is what will drive me to make the best edits possible.
