ASp.NET DeveloperMay 2013 - Jan 2014 (8 months)
I started helping with this project in the capacity of tightening up the security, and the code to help prevent SQL injection attacks and other vulnerabilities. I then went on to developing new features in the system (a medical note taking app in [login to view URL]), and implementing Dev Ex controls to make the user interface responsive, and intuitive.

I worked on a wide range of products and platforms at NCH, including dynamics CRM, sharepoint, WCF web services, Silverlight components, and reporting tools in C#.
OwnerNov 2009 - Dec 2012 (3 years)
I started this business with a friend, who is a really great graphic designer. We built some great looking websites for local businesses, and our clients seemed very happy with the quality of our work. We also built a [login to view URL] application for repair shop management. Called Trailblazer, it has sold all over the world, and we have some very happy clients. We decided to part company in december 2012, and I then went solo to work on my own software products.

I worked on systems that were for government organisations, adoption agencies, Educational inspectorates , and care home inspectorates. Our systems were used all over the UK, and australia. The main application contained more than 700 forms, and even more data tables. The system was very configurable, and flexible
Repair Shaop ManagerNov 1996 - Sep 2000 (3 years)
I ran the electronic repair department - servicing and repairing water leak detection equipment. I also helped build the service department management database in Microsoft Access, along with a couple of tools in ASP. The Access application grew into a very useful tool, with features for prioritising jobs, and assigning them to technicians. I then left to work as an ASP and Access developer full time.
