This paper is about developing a multi-lingual font for Pashto, Arabic, Urdu and Persian in such a way that the text for these four languages can be typed in it. Main purpose for developing fonts was to handle and remove many problems faced in earlier fonts. Fonts developed as a part of this work are ligature-based and text for all four languages (Pashto, Arabic, Urdu, and Persian) can be written in a single font.
