Hello, I'm Nadia Jansen van Vuuren, a graphic designer and an artist and photographer in my free time. I graduated with a B.A. Degree in Graphic Design from the North-West University of Potchefstroom in 2012. I believe that you should understand the brand and its target market through thorough research before a design is created. Otherwise it will only be a pretty picture without a call to action or any real function. I also believe that typography is one of the most important aspects of design. Without great typography a design will only be average. I am passionate about making your thoughts and ideas come visually alive.

The beat the peak project is aimed at informing and making the residents of South Africa aware of the problem of a too high electricity usage during the peak time of day which is between 5pm and 9pm. The purpose of the presentation is to compare two families, one switching off the appliances they are not using and the other who leaves all the electricity appliances on during the peak time.
