Oliver Butcher is an Illustration graduate. His work has been accepted by the Association of Illustrators for 2009's 'Images 33' and 2011's 'Images 35' exhibition and annual book. He has received a number of commissions during and since university including posters, exhibition pieces, book illustrations and storyboards. He grew up in Essex's county town of Chelmsford where with his brother and his dad. He takes a lot of inspiration from his home town and the people who live there. Oliver is always willing to do projects for other people and taking briefs from all over the world.

I was commissioned by Lynch and Leigh to produce a storyboard for a music video they were shooting for London based rap artist 'Mowgli'. The director had specific camera angles and shots that were required and i was employed to bring my own style and sense of light to the project.

This company commissioned me to produce a poster and program cover for a Polish poster exhibition in Plymouth, UK. The poster had to reflect the style of a classic Polish poster. As well as being the poster and program cover, my image also featured in the exhibition along with the Polish posters. I was also commissioned to produce a poster for a Polish film series being shown in the Jill Craigy cinema in Plymouth.
