I am a Design engineer with one year experience in Thermal research center where i perform various 3D modelling of turbine blade and other power plant components as well as performs various NDT tests and Metallurgical tests on pressure parts of power plant boiler and turbine during Residual Life assessment of power plant boiler and Laboratory test.
I am familiar with 3D modelling softwares like Auto-Cad, PTC-Creo, Simcentre-NX-Nastran.

During this tenure i acquired knowledge of Non-Destructive and Destructive Evaluation of Pressure Part components of Thermal Power Station. I performed various tests using advanced Destructive and Non-Destructive Equipment’s as well as do the 3D Modelling and analysis of components using PTC Creo Parametric 3.0 and Simcentre 11 with NX Nastran Solver package. I also performed Residual Life Assessment and Condition Assessment studies in various Super Thermal Power Plants.

Crack Detection Analysis of Steam Turbine Rotor Blade using NDT Technique
In this paper the various aspects related to turbine blade crack failure such as highly stressed areas, internal flaws in steam turbine rotor blades and method to evaluate them with the help of Non Destructive Techniques are studied. This paper describes study of development of Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) methods and the qualification of the inspection techniques for selected application in steam turbine field-service.
Dye Penetrant Inspection of Turbine Blade Root Attachment
Critical rotating components of Steam Turbine of power plants like Turbine blade are subjected to various stresses during operation, start–up and shut-down condition. These cause the components to undergoes cracks in the turbine blade at maximum concentration area. Hence the Non-Destructive Inspection is carried out periodically for the prevention of failures of turbine blade due to probable cracks. These Fractures, cracks are generally reveled using Dye Penetrant Inspection Technique.

They worked on Design and Fabrication of Stirrups Making Machine and they concluded that Since testing the stirrup making machine it is observed that how much time is required to make single piece of stirrup by effective working
