Application also allows developers test their formula’s on the fly. Once factors are defined ability is given to compile the meta and generate meta file to be used by main application to display tax forms and tax data and perform tax calculations. ·         **Development of FormTool** **Technology:**         VisualC++, MFC 6.0. **Description:**         Managed and was part of MFC based application development. Application was developed to give ability to Tax content developer to map fields on the tax forms to define location and display format of the tax data. Ability given to define drill to the field to allow client to drill to the source of data or data calculation. FT Page control reads form meta file to contruct TaxForm images and to get Tax fields/factors (tax meta data). FT Page control then gets data from EDCache(DSL) for factors of each mapped fields for given Context. Depending on Data and Factor type, Form is populated with pre-defined Display Style and Edit style. FT Overflow control is developed to display detail records for the factor data. FT controls also supports update, refresh and printing of Tax forms. Connection points (Events) used to provide control status to container. FT Engine component is developed to provide persistent objects of Tax Meta to FT ActiveX.
