I bring to the table a Master's education and more than 6 years of experience in software engineering and cybersecurity. I have developed security systems for airgapped critical infrastructure, secured embedded devices for the DoD, and architected both client-facing and back-end distributed systems for data collection, processing, and billing. My approach to security draws on more than a decade of systems and network administration experience, and emphasizes the selection of appropriate controls by development of a accurate threat model. I have particular passion for the areas of functional and aspect-oriented design, both in software development and in composable, microservice-oriented design.
