SHOW US YOUR TYPE is a project about two things: type and cities. The project started to provide a creative platform for designers to share their talents and explore cities from a different perspective. The only requirement is to create a A3 poster that must contain the name of a specific city for each edition, and a typeface created by the designer. When talking about London is impossible not to think of the Tube/Metro and the iconic image created for the Underground system of the city. Since the initial concept that I wanted a very clean poster, where the main focus was the typeface created. Using the color code of all the metro lines and all the other graphic elements visually associated with the 'Tube' (line junctions, stations, etc.) the result was a very clean work, where the stark white background contrasts with the colorfull array of lines and shapes. The connection is immediately made by the observer. The best 100 posters were selected and featured in the website

Using Camper's iconic brand logo as a modular form in the creation of several patterns was the starting point for the creation of their new shopping bags. The color palette is restricted to the three main colors used by the brand: white, red and black. The several prints convey tile patterns with strong and bold graphic motifs, that in many ways evoke the spanish heritage behind the history of the brand.

When thinking about the concept for the design of a Yearbook to display the activities of the organization from the previous year, the Palau itself became the main focus and inspiration behind my personal design proposal. The building of the 'Palau de la Música Catalana' is designed around a central metal structure covered in glass, which exploits natural light to make the Lluís Domènech i Montaner's masterpiece into a magical music box which brings together all the decorative arts: sculpture, mosaic, stained glass and ironwork. The geometrical quality of the space was the basis for the proposal, that tried to convey the lightness of the glass structure against the solid brick wall. The glass and the bricks inspired the simple and clean color palette that consisted only in variations of copper tones and greys against a solid white background. The result was a minimalistic, elegant and sober design aesthetic, much like the organization itself.

More than an image a brand is a set of perceptions and associations that reside in the minds of people about a certain thing. Thinking about a brand for the "University of Coimbra, Alta e Sofia" requires thinking about their history, about their heritage and about their imaginary. Choosing which factors are most significant for its recognition as a site, region, and consequently, as a trademark. In an attempt to graphically summarize all these factors, emerged as argument to its notice the reference to the most outstanding monuments of this city area. It's typical architecture is much more than a mere historical reference, is a representation of the history of Coimbra and its people. A historic area of knowledge and wisdom. Zone of the old wall that with its towers, walls, arches, arcades and cloisters show a noble and majestic Coimbra, with its proudly view that reaches the Mondego river.

The project Page as a Prism consists both in an origami A1 poster and a printed booklet. Reflection, distortion and refraction are the central concepts to the interaction between light and prisms. The poster as an object, explores all the possibilities of the printed page as a prism. The reader can handle the page/poster as he wants. There is no wrong or right way to do it. He can folded it, flip it over, hide or reveal information. The reader is free to create its path, while discovering new possibilities of "reading" the object. However, there is a suggestion of three individual shapes, as the representation of the three main concepts behind this object: reflection, distortion and refraction. The booklet consists of three individual volumes each one corresponding to one of the three interactions mencioned above: reflection, distortion and refraction, and in each one of them both visual and theoretical references are contained.

Being a studio that is mainly focused in the fields of creative direction, art direction and graphic design, and with a specialization in the creation of innovative concepts and new codes for brands. My main task was to assist the design team in the campaigns that were being developed by the studio at that time (Camper and Chocolat Factory), while still being involved in the creation of packaging materials, logotypes and new brands identity.
