Some extracts from the final report of my final year research and design project. I worked in collaboration with ecoSmart, a Sydney based bio-ethanol fireplace design studio and manufacturer. Outlining the process from start: user research and market niche, to end: the design (how and why) and manufacturing processes with a fully functional prototype to establish my research and plausibility of being a potentially successful product.
