My partner and I work as a team. I have a PhD in statistics and measurement with a minor in computer science. My primary areas of expertise are research, statistical analysis, statistical modeling, data analysis, psychometric analysis and assessment. I have a thorough understanding of both theory and methods. Additionally, I have expertise in multiple programming languages and am proficient in a variety of tools, including SAS, Excel, Access and Excel, SPSS, Python, VB and VBA, SQL, Oracle and SQL Server. I have excellent writing and communication skills. I also have many years of experience designing and developing assessments and surveys. My partner is a data scientist with many years of experience analyzing and modeling data. She is an expert in SAS, and has considerable expertise analyzing massive datasets. Among our most notable accomplishments is the invention of the scripted testing adaptive test algorithm used for the GMAT, and the design and implementation of the infrastructure necessary for the authoring of item pools and the analysis of the respondent data. More recently we conducted a wide ranging analysis of sales, marketing and financial data for an organization in order to guide the complete restructuring of their pricing structure. Other projects include creation of a production quota completion forecast model and the development and testing of a new algorithm for FINRA.
