I'm interested in helping scientists tell the story they want to tell using plain language to communicate complex scientific ideas, graphic summation of ideas and data, and infographics. I also enjoy photography, running, hiking, blogging and Tai Chi. I'm currently working with Fusion Genomics as their Director of Communications. We are developing an NGS based diagnostic platform that will identify all known human infectious agents with a single test! I previously worked for 4 years as a Research Development Facilitator at the Child and Family Research institute where I also served for a year as a part time Bioethicist on the BC Children and Women's Research Ethics Board. I also previously served as Chair for two Clinical Ethics committees at the BC Cancer Agency.
