Put short my hourly rate for website development is $20.00 per hour plus $5.00 a month for basic hosting (if you need it). Please check out for more info.
This site was made for a massage therapist in my town whom allowed me to put my web developer information in the footer of her site. When I first began doing business with Amanda Dale all she had was a logo, some "about her" information, and an an idea of the "look and feel" that she wanted for her website. Her additional requests were that when s omeone came to her site she wanted them to be able to schedule an app ointment online, to accept paypal payments, to insure her site was mobile phone compatible and to play soothing music upon page load.
From there on I created her site, meeting her in person for 2 hours on two occasions before completion. The total cost for all of this was $600.00 (30 hours of work) + $5.00 a month for hosting with my hosting company.
Next is another business owner in my town that sells herbals. His company name is Club13 Enterprises. This mans name is Brian Del Rey. Brian owns 5+ sites that I manage weekly. His customer base is all internet based and his orders come from all around the US. So, the management involves making sure his websites and their pages show up high in the google search results in his very competitive herbal niche. In addition I write his blog posts, put up product images, change prices, get him backlinks, create and send out his monthly newsletters, do his descriptions...basically, everything besides ship his orders and produce his videos (thank goodness, lol). When I started working for him last year his monthly sales were $2-$3K max and when I would search for his site he would show up on page 11 for his key terms and was very quickly dropping in the rankings due to massive competition. Now his sales are at $5-$6K a month. He pays me steadily for 25 hours of work every week at $20.00 per hour and has an incentive bonus structure in place for me as well. I have more websites I could show you and quote about if need be. This is just an idea.
Everyone's needs are different and its easier to meet about business needs for each business uniquely to get an accurate idea of pricing. Here is his cart system and the site all of the sales stream in to:
