Hi, my name is Scott and I am an Interactive Media Designer and Developer... ..I am currently studying for my degree in Interactive Media Design through the University of Hertfordshire, and I currently hold a Level 3 Diploma in Web Design from ACITP I am proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver and Flash, I can code in HTML/CSS, PHP/MySQL and I am currently learning JQuery HTML5 and CSS3. Bloomin Marvelous This is a rework of a logo that I designed a long time ago for a self employed dried flower arranger based in Edinburgh, I was not given any specific brief for this project and the first logo I designed for this consisted of a single hand drawn rose sitting vertically in the middle of the page with the words 'Bloomin Marvelous' running vertically down each side, as I gained more and more experience I quickly realized that the design was not particularly functional and so came up with the above re-work. Designed using Illustrator.

Swans Architectural Salvage The above piece of work was designed for a client as a web banner, they are as you can see an architectural salvage company and as such the above was designed to be placed on websites as an advertisement, unfortunately this design was never used and currently sits in my archive, but I quite like it and so wanted to show it off. This was designed using Photoshop.

Aurora Pyrotechnics Aurora Pyrotechnics is one of Yorkshires leading fireworks display providers, I was approached by this client and asked to design them an online presence that fitted in with the spectacular displays that they create for their clients, I was quite literal here, the huge fireworks display to the side and the little touches that make up the navigation help give this site the spectacular feel I was going for. It was designed in Photoshop and built in Dreamweaver with HTML, CSS and Flash.

Wildes Wine Bar Wildes Wine Bar is a little piece of Paris nestled in the busy backstreets of York; I was approached and asked to design and build a simple brochure site that allowed the new owner to advertise on line. The only constraints I had was the colour British Racing Green and grapes. Site was designed in Photoshop and built in Dreamweaver using HTML/CSS/PHP and Javascript; it has a simple admin area where the client can amend certain pieces of content.

Cupcake/Bakery Template This is a page I originally designed for a potential client, a cupcake bakery in Harrogate, West Yorkshire, the brief was to create a design based on the 1950s era, I chose to go down the classic home baked, middle America type 1950s styling (slightly Stepford wifeish, but fun and clean), It was designed in Photoshop and built in Dreamweaver using HTML, CSS and JQuery. This template can be easily adapted to many needs. Like it, then get in touch.
