I've been working as a freelance web developer and writer / editor since 2000. During the early years, I have come to specialize in coding websites from scratch (front-end and back-end), at first using PHP and MySQL. I can implement pixel-perfect HTML5 / CSS templates based on images / Photoshop designs, and I also have experience in coding custom admin panels / CMS systems, when needed. Later, when HTML5 came around, I started focusing more on JavaScript / jQuery. These have been my main tools at the previous jobs, working at Two Tap and Honey (acquired by PayPal for $4 billion!). More recently, I've been gaining experience with Angular and TypeScript.

Since December 2012 I have been taking freelance jobs as a web developer from the Freelancer.com website. I have come to specialize in coding websites from scratch using PHP and MySQL, or simply implementing pre-made designs (e.g. from Photoshop) into pixel-perfect, cross-browser consistent templates using HTML(5) / XHTML and CSS3. I also have experience with the Smarty template engine, jQuery and Ajax, as well as implementing custom admin panels / CMS systems, when needed.

I started the Ars Retina website in September 2011, together with a former colleague from the "PC Games" magazine. The website is currently active in its Romanian version only - www.arsretina.ro - although the whole system is in place for an English version at www.arsretina.com (so far void of textual content, due to a lack of writers). It's a web portal dedicated to the world of entertainment and more, with articles, videos and news about the most anticipated movies, TV series and video g

The Playkon.com network began in July 2006 with the launch of Animekon.com - a website dedicate to Japanese animation and other forms of visual culture, which has since remained the network's main website. In September 2006, the 2nd website was added to the network - TVkon.com, featuring trailers for games, movies and anime, which are also integrated in the other websites. Next came CryoCopy.com, launched in spring 2007 as a web archiving service that allows manual caching of Internet pages (also used
