Bootic.com is an e-commerce network. Bootic links merchants and manufacturers - the Sources - with opinions leaders and entrepreneurs - the Vendors - to present a large selection of relevant products to the Shoppers. Bootic’s search engine is a neutral marketplace. Managing a team of 20 peoples around the world (China, Russia, South and North America....), I conducted this project for about two years until Bootic became an advanced e-Commerce platform. Transfer-To is a Singaporean company created by Eric Barbier in 2007. The main product of Transfer-To consists in an international network used by Telco to transfer credits from their customers to foreign prepaid SIM cards. Transfer-To is connected to many Telco in the world and proposes, though a simple HTTP API or some SMS/USSD application, the ability to top up any prepaid SIM card in the world. Ingenico has acquired Transfer-To for 40 millions Dollars. I conceived the whole architecture of the Transfer-To platform, from the network, the hardware and the operating system to the development of the application. In four years, with a very small technical team (2 peoples, including me), we have become a leader of the credit transfer mobile to mobile. On a technical point of view, it means that we developed the platform (numbering plan resolution, billing, routing…) and we have connected it with more than 150 Telco using various technologies included but not limited to SS7, VPN IPSec, HTTP(s), ISO8583, SOAP, XML, JSON… Technologies involved: Hosting in datacenter.
