I'm currently a full-time software engineer at a software company in NYC. I've been designing and building backend systems to handle large amounts of data. Just to give an idea of the scale, our infrastructure handles 150K requests/sec. That's gigabytes of data every second. From writing firmware for in-house built devices to creating iOS apps, and everything in between. I created a proprietary wireless mesh networking protocol based on gossip protocol, so that devices can talk to each other and relay data. I also implemented BLE stack and iOS libraries to allow your phone communicate with the devices over BLE. All data and messages are relayed from the phone to the mesh and the other way around.

I worked across the entire backend stack from integrating payment systems to building and deploying infrastructure for handling large amounts of streaming data. On the product side, I built backed systems for a few products since their inception and was one of the main backend engineers on the product teams. Most of the code was written in Python and C/C++.
