Project '44

by tempranova

We developed a full front and backend for the Project '44 site, which is a large collection of war diaries, troop movements, and day-to-day changes in regiments on the battlefield of World War II, post D-Day. This is a long-term project and is still ongoing as of August 2020. It involves many different technologies, focusing around a Mapbox map front-end and complex backend system, date slider, and numerous auxiliary designs.
