As the Lead UX Specialist in the company, I am responsible for all design related interactions on all products. After an acquisition has been made, I along with a project manager and an account manager would meet with the client in a design workshop. Through information architecture - I would gather all business requirements as well as end user requirements. The next phase is then to create a wireframe to illustrate the layout and functionality of the specified solution, where after a few iterations we would proceed to designing a simple one page prototype in order to accurately apply the business branding. Once marketing/communications has signed off on the UI, we would proceed to building the solution. Apart from my primary duties as summarised above I also altered and replaced a few internal business processes to simplify sales, development and design. I built a sales tool user interface to help demonstrate our capabilities on projects.
