I got involved in several electronic development projects, ranging from motor control to pulse power supply development.

As the development team grew I started acting as the technical team leader. In this role I got more involved in providing technical guidance and designing/coding the underlying frameworks of the new software products. We applied Agile design principles with a strong emphasis on good OO design. For the first 5 years we used SCRUM and later switched to Kanban.

I started as the only developer on a new project. The aim was to develop a new CAD/GUI front-end to model antennas. It was a big learning curve and during this time I acquired extensive knowledge in solid modelers (e.g. Parasolid), 3D computer graphics, cross-platform GUI development and C++.
