Senior SQL Database Administrator

Aug 2014 - Jul 2015 (11 months)

I was hired on board as a subcontractor to help design and implement a backend database for a political Facebook game. I created a relational schema for the database design and implemented the entire database from creating tables, designating primary and foreign keys, assigning data types, to defining table relationships. After that was all said and done, I used ColdFusion to create backend scripts for basic CRUD operations to advanced game processes.

Mathematics Student of the Year (2006)

Allegany College of Maryland

For all of the reasons mentioned in my Mu Alpha Theta description and also for helping fix Don Robinson's Calculus websites (fixing a problem here and there which is rare for Don) for an honor's project, I got selected as Student of the Year in Mathematics for 2006. I remember the awards banquet for this award and it was one of the most memorable to date. I still remember Don asking me how I accomplished all I did during college - and if we could bottle that, we could make billions!

Programming Student of the Year (2005)

Allegany College of Maryland

This award meant a lot to me because it was for my field - computer programming. Out of all the awards on my list, I saved this one for last because I once heard you are supposed to save the best for last. Personal thanks goes out to Steve Robinett, Jim House, and Tom Melvin - as well as the rest of my instructors that helped me along the way!
