PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE Software Engineer II in Global Analytics India Pvt ltd, Chennai, India (August '12 – August '14) Projects: Transaction Management System(TMS) and IVRS for Lending Stream Lending Stream is an innovative short-term loan provider that launched in the UK in 2008. Lending Stream's unique short term loans bridge the gap between one-month loans and short-term convenience bank loans. It is called short-term installment loan. Short-term because in LS loan repayments do not extend beyond 6 months installment because customers can repay the loan in easy parts. Transaction Management System (TMS) is a web application that handles the complete life cycle of the loan. It is built on top of Django Framework using Python. Transaction Management System comprises of web application deployed in Apache Web Server and set of standalone scripts which performs specific tasks. TMS also interacts with other systems such as Payment Gateway, Underwriting Engine, Consumer Website and Card Server. Freelance Django-Python developer (August '14 – Present) Project: SaaS for Film industry professionals to send secure screeners online Worked on complete refactoring of the project from Django1.3 to Django 1.6 ,implemented RESTful api's using django-tastypie. Changed the complete DB model from Mysql to PostgreSQL and used SQL Alchemy instead of Django ORM. Redesigned the complete front end of the website using Bootstrap 3 and changed the application into a SPA with the help of AngularJS.
