I then worked with Cottage Industries Exposition, Delhi, as an Appraiser cum Jewellery Designer. Again CIE sells its jewellery through its vast network of showrooms. CIE was mainly targeting foreign tourists. Thus the selection of jewellery was as per international standards. I was into the evaluation of jewellery at the point of purchase. The evaluation of jewellery also gave me an idea of the quality of finishes. I was also into the quality check of jewellery & Gemstones.
