I am an embedded software engineer for a robotics company with 6 years experience. These are my skills: - Object-oriented C++ embedded software. I have succeeded on maintaining modularity on large project without sacrificing efficiency. Consideration of real time operation, tight constraint, and execution speed always in my mind. - Python scripting to automate unit tests. I also know some list comprehension and lambda expression. Have read Zen of Python and try to always write the Python way. - On desktop platform, I prefer .NET with C# but also know some of C++/CLI. C# is a boringly beautiful language, with some nice addition of Lambda expressions and LINQ. It's verbose, but never disappoints or surprises you. C++/CLI is the most sane way to bridge native and .NET world. - In some occasions, I write VHDL codes for FPGA and CPLD, mainly for Altera. - Although I have limited knowledge on electronics, I am familiar with component datasheets and simple schematics - Additionally, during my college time, I am familiar with a little bit signal processing and machine learning, because I developed a voiceprint identification software.
