Colonial legacy of the British: a narrative analysis of police service of Pakistan

The colonial legacy remains visible in the Police Service of Pakistan (PSP). The PSP officers identify themselves as something different and superior to the public. It is common for PSP to show the public how the colonial master viewed the subjects of colonial rule. Consumption is one of the central activity of an economy. . The question that this study answers are what Muslim consumer behaviour is and how does it differ from Nep-Classical approach. This Study has adopted a realist ontological stance and interpretivist Epistemology. Units of data collection for the study were the Quranic verses and the texts of Hadith. The study found unlike modern day neo-classical Consumer theory, consumption is not the ultimate aim of human being.

Generalized twisted contractive mappings of integral type on spaces with two metrics

In this paper, we extend and generalize the notion of twisted (α, β)ψ-contractive maps on spaces with two metrics. Our results provide a compact form for both type of results related to twisted (α, β)-ψcontractive mappings and generalized contractions on spaces with two metrics. We establish new fixed point theorems which generalize the Banach contraction principle and so many other results in the literature. An example is constructed to support our results.
