Hi, I'm Susan Young, a Perth-born/Berlin-based architect and designer focused on crafting beautiful content both online and offline. My process is driven by identifying your best assets and then working collaboratively to carve a unique visual identity that will engage your audience. When I'm not designing I love seeing live music, exploring neglected spaces and submerging in the world's waters.

The client required a coming soon page, a fully responsive website to showcase her products and assistance with content/photography. The result was a light & and bright feminine layout in line with her branding and customer. I designed and developed the site using Wordpress and HTML5. http://thegarnishedco.com/

Charlie the client had a clear idea of what she wanted to execute but she didn't know how to achieve it. She approached me with an idea for logo and website incorporating an illustration. I research and finally commissioned Vanessa Vanderhaven. Once the detailed illustrations were complete we pared back the other elements and developed print collateral including business cards and flyers. Finally I designed and developed the Wordpress website site including the online store for retailing the products available instore. http://thenesthairboutique.com.au

Andrea Goh came to me with a very clear aesthetic and idea of how she wanted her fashion blog to function. With a collection of reference points, we took the best features of each and stripped back the layout to the necessities whilst making sure social functions are clear. With her meticulous eye for detail, together we dissected the project many times to reach a pixel-perfect outcome that is compatible across a range of hard & soft-ware.
