Qublix Games, a leading independent game studio based in Toronto, Canada are seeking a Senior Game Developer to join our existing team. You will program in ActionScript 3 to create innovative Flash games.
Since this is a senior position we must be able to see a portfolio with at least a few flash games that you have developed either entirely or for which you completed a substantial component. The artwork quality of the games will not be judged as this is a developer position.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on Qublix titles and will be provided with support by our talented team of artists and developers. NOTE: This position is open to both in-house employment as well as remote work from any location as long as you are able to stay in contact with our team via Skype etc.
Essential Skills:
ActionScript 3
Game development experience - at least one example game in your portfolio
Knowledge of 2D physics
Knowledge of MVC frameworks for Flash
A love for casual and social games
Bonus Skills:
Box2d
Starling
Zend AMF or AMF in general
PHP
Salary: depending on experience and skill set
