I need some benchmark studies – and very likely they are available on the internet somewhere already – but I don’t have time to find them.
FOSS [url removed, login to view] is a supplier to the food industry of capital goods (B-2-B) – investment between 20.000 and 250.000 $ for the customer. We have companies in 22 countries where we sell direct and distributors in many other. I would like to make some benchmark surveys about different areas. As a start it would be nice to know how similar companies does with marketing:
E.g. $ spend vs turnover
Headcount /centrally vs locally
Headcounct vs promotion money
And in principle many other things, I can use to optimize the business – we want to be best in class. I believe reports/data are available – I just need help to find the data (and if a report cost money, I am willing to pay for that as will on top of the time you spend find it)– and maybe extract it in digest able format (e.g. powerpoint).
