An operation and technical manual will need to be developed for a complex pipeline washing system. The pipeline washer is in prototype stages and will be ready for full production by the end of February.
**The manuals must also be provided in Spanish.
Technical Manual will need the following information:
1. Safety Information
2. Power Requirements
3. Explanation of all I/O (17 controllable relays, temp sensor, ph sensor)
4. Wiring diagrams
5. Installation
6. Troubleshooting and alarms
Operational Manual will need the following information:
1. Safety
2. System setup (password, system date/time, measurement selection oz/gal)
3. Calibration procedure (measurement of acids/detergents/water/temperature/ph)
4. Setting up wash cycles
5. Running wash cycles
6. Complete menu flowchart
7. Wash cycle time line examples
8. Saving to USB/Printing
The pipeline washing system has the capability of programming separate washing programs, each program is customizable through the user interface. The menu structure for configuring the wash settings has multiple levels of customization. Since the unit is still in prototype stages the exact number of settings is still unknown, a safe estimate would be 30 settings per wash program.
The system will control hot and cold water valves to fill a wash tank and dispense acids and detergents as needed. The system also uses divert and drain valves to control the flow. An example of a basic system setup and all connections will need to be shown within the manuals with detailed explanations as to the limitations of each valve connected (flow/current/etc...).
The technical writer for this project must have excellent writing ability and electrical knowledge. TIMIN LLC will provide drawings and basic explanation of operation and wiring.
TIMIN LLC will also provide phone support during the process if needed. The information provided here is a baseline for the information that will be included in the manuals and is not considered complete.
