A script similar to y#outube, u#stream or h#ulu needs to have following mandatory features:
Our encoder, media server components will be supplied. Specs of existing software attached.
1 - Built in CDN based delivery, CMS and cloud setup. I should be able to get 10 servers in different parts of the world and script should be deployable in CDN mode.
2 - Built-in powerful transcoder/transrater. It should be able to do live and offline transcoding: file to file, network stream to file, live source to file, file to network stream, live source to network stream and network stream to network stream for the standard formats, codecs, and protocols supporting profiles for different smart phones and resolutions. Transcoder/ media server requirements attached.
3 - CMS client interface/app for web, STB, android, iphone/ipad, bb.
4 - HTTP Video caching on edge server.
5 - Client viewer interface to have support for pause/ resume/ stop/ play/ ff/ slow.
6 - Content Search and Recommendation
7 - Integration with facebook, twitter.
8 - Content Acquisition through video upload/ ftp drop/ network stream/ live source.
9 - Integration with DRM.
10 - Channel Program Guide.
11 - application script needs to support full HD video profile.
12 - script should support logging, monitoring, billing and advertising features. Content acquisition to have support for dynamic ad insertion.
13 CDN to support failover, geo-redundancy, loadsharing and cashing.
14 - Support of unicast and multicast mode of delivery.
Transcoder feature requirement attached.
To be given: Complete vc++ vs 2008 compiling and working source code of encoder, media server and viewer activex.
Deliverable: Full application with sources and instructions. You will need to deploy the application CDN on 4-10 of our servers and demo fully functional setup.
Testing:
- You will setup application script CDN as follows: 25 live Indian channels with channel guide and 25 movies on demand . and test as per the requirements from pc, iphone, android, bb and optionally settopbox supplied by you.
Requested is standard application script platform with no extra ordinary features. features and interfaces can be benchmarked to popular examples given above. If you are expert at this, you may have a ready script.
