A similar game to what I want can be found at runescape.com. I think it's java based, but I really don't know enough about programming to be sure. Anyway, I want an indepth, detailed game such as runescape. I'd like for it to be graphically similar, and somewhat similar in game type and gameplay, but it doesn't have to be a clone. I'll leave room for the programmer to be creative. I would like to see what ideas you can come up with to create an even better game. Here are some features I would like included in the game: quests, many skills and stats, both civilian and combat related, that affect each other (and the player can improve them by doing different activities) - runescape is pretty creative in this area, and I would like to see similar creativity, ability for a player to construct a house, and improve the house as construction skill improves, and more. These are just a few things I want included, but get creative. In runescape, the level that is shown to the public (displayed over each player's head when you mouseover their character) for each player is based only on that player's combat skills. I would prefer for the level that everyone sees for each player to be based on all of their skill instead. Also, I don't want the game to be based on quests. I want there to be quests available for players who wish to quest, but I also want there to be plenty of other activities, etc. to keep players entertained that aren't really into questing. Also, in runequest, players can not kill other players, but can only kill computer players (if you know what I mean). Except, there are designated areas in runescape, that players can attack and kill each other. I like this idea would like it implented. If you have any ideas to improve upon this feature (or any other), please feel free to pitch them to me. Like runescape, I'd like there to be a free version of the game (which includes advertisments), and a monthly fee membership version that has no advertisements, and includes many in-game benefits to the player (such as more unlocked skills, option to build a house, more unlocked quests, etc.) Also, upon creation, the site for the game should be optimized for best search engine results. The programmer that creates all of this should be available in the future for troubleshooting, should any problems arise, as well as game updates, etc. If you cannot/will not be able for these in the future, please do not bid. I can't wait to hear (or read) your ideas! Thanks for reading!
