Patent Research and Drafting within Product Development

Hi,
I am working with an engineer to develop a product, and I'm looking into acquiring intellectual property within the development of this product. To do so I'd like to add someone with legal expertise to the team. I would like them to do proper research on relevant patents regarding the product we're developing, and help draft a patent around the tooling and/or processing designs for the product.
If you have an engineering background that is a huge plus and make note of that.
Product development / Product Patenting is also a plus.
Proper English skills is a must in order to do excellent research for current patents and understanding how we might acquire our own intellectual property for our design.
Teamwork and promptness in replying is key as this will involve teamwork and members from around the globe.
