We have bought the TomTom SDK to make an application for fire departments to store fire hydrants, detailed building maps and other information onto Windows Mobile devices with TomTom Navigator installed. We planned to develop this application on our own, but have unfortunatly not enough knowledge about PocketPC development available. The TomTom Navigator SDK provides a C++ library for easy development with the TomTom API in a Microsoft-eMbedded Visual C++ development environment. We need somebody who can make a Windows Mobile application for us with use of this SDK which can do the following: - Show Point of Interests (POI's) on the TomTom map (default behaviour of TomTom). The POI's are detailed maps of buildings and fire hydrant places. - On clicking a POI, information of the fire hydrant or the map attached should be displayed. - The maps (saved in the database as .png, .jpeg or .gif) should be opened in the application and it should be possible to rotate, move them and zoom in and out. - It should be possible to save additional information about the hydrant places for regular maintances (checklist), and it should be possible to add new fire hydrants from within the application. - It should be possible to sync the database with maps and fire hydrants to a Access database with ActiveSync Please be adviced that a previous RentACoder developer claimed that this project was not possible. Only bid on this request if you have previous experience with TomTom development.
