Project Description:
I am wanting to customize a open source project called ClinicCases for my business. If possible would still like to upgrade the ClinicCases when there is a update but without losing my custom changes to the project.
This will be ongoing work i want to eventually integrate it into my concrete5 website.

Right now i just want to delete and add new case fields to the db to fit my business...but after running some test i found out that it would require modifying core php files because the fields that i want to delete are required for the system to operate properly. It looks like some of the tables in the db are linked to other tables in the db which in turn is sending the data through the php code to those tables. I don't want to spend much money for these modifications because i want to eventually make a case manager as a concrete5 addon or a totally separate content case management system.
